Georgia Tsangaraki is a Greek actor-director, theater educator and dramaturg. She has studied acting at the school of the National Theatre of Greece, receiving an Honor’s degree and has continued her studies with a scholarship from Voudouris foundation in the Arts Educational London Schools receiving her Masters degree. She is trained in voice, dance, Kung –Fu, Buttoh, Suzuki method, acting for the camera, Flamenco, creative writing. Since 1996 she has worked as an actor with the National Theatre of Greece in multiple shows (Greek tragedies and contemporary pieces alike) multiple short and feature films, as well as television shows. She teaches voice, acting, and movement, while for the last five years she has been collaborating with One Year Lease Theater Co and Ianthe Demos, in their summer school in Papingo, Ipiros, Greece. She also works with various drama schools in Greece and abroad(Chile, USA, England,Italy,Colombia) teaching Greek and foreign student’s master-classes in Ancient Greek Drama and, specifically, the role of the Chorus.
Georgia is now in the second year of her master’s degree in Dramatherapy. She speaks Italian, Spanish and English and is also and mostly a mother of an amazing child.
